Whether enjoyed as a breakfast delight, a snack, or a dessert, this bread is loved for its soft, tender crumb and rich, slightly sweet flavor.

The aroma of freshly baked sweet bread fills the home with a sense of coziness, making it perfect for gatherings or simply indulging in a quiet moment.

Made from simple ingredients like flour, sugar, eggs, butter, and yeast, sweet bread recipes often include additional flavors and textures, such as cinnamon, vanilla, dried fruits, or nuts. Some variations even incorporate a glaze or icing to enhance the sweetness.

One of the joys of making sweet bread at home is the opportunity to customize it to your taste.

You can experiment with different fillings, shapes, and toppings to create a bread that perfectly suits your preferences.

Whether you’re an experienced baker or a beginner, homemade sweet bread is a rewarding project that results in a delicious and satisfying loaf, perfect for sharing or enjoying all to yourself.

- Ingredient :

For the dough:

300g all-purpose flour

40g sugar

2g salt

7g dry yeast

1 egg

140ml warm milk

40g  cream cheese

30g butter

For the custard filling:

300g custard

Feel free to experiment with ingredient replacements. For example, you can substitute all-purpose flour with whole wheat flour for a nuttier flavor. Additionally, if you’re looking for a lighter option, try using Greek yogurt instead of cream cheese in the dough.

- Directions :

Mixing the Dough: In a bowl, beat together warm milk, sugar, yeast, egg, and cream cheese.

Adding Dry Ingredients: Add the all-purpose flour and salt to the mixture. Knead the dough until it becomes smooth.

Incorporating Butter: Knead the soft butter into the dough and set it aside for 2 hours or until it doubles in size.

Dividing and Shaping: Cut the dough into 12 pieces and roll each piece into a ball.

Filling with Custard: Flatten each ball of dough and place a tablespoon of custard inside. Pinch the edges together to seal the filling.

Resting Time: Set the filled dough balls aside for 30 minutes to allow them to rise.

Arranging in the Pan: Roll out each ball slightly and place them on a round, overlapping baking pan.

Final Rise and Baking: Set the assembled balls aside for an additional 1 hour. Bake at 160°C/320°F for 30 minutes. Brush with butter before serving.
