German Chocolate Pecan Pie Bars are a delightful fusion of two classic desserts: the rich and indulgent German chocolate cake and the traditional pecan pie. These bars feature a buttery crust, a gooey chocolate and coconut filling, and a crunchy pecan topping, making them an irresistible treat for any occasion. - Ingredients :


° 1/2 cup (1 stick) salted butter, room temperature, plus 2 tablespoons melted

° 1/4 cup brown sugar

° 1 1/4 cups all-purpose flour (tablespoon and technique ) ° Salt 1/2 teaspoon

° 3 large eggs

° 3/4 cup corn syrup

° 1/2 cup refined sugar

° 1 pack of chocolate chips

° 2 cups walnuts, coarsely chopped


- Preparation :

 

Preheat the oven to 350. Line the bottom and sides of a 9×13-inch baking pan with foil. In the bowl of an electric

mixer, beat 1 cup room temperature butter, brown sugar, flour, and salt until lumps form. Pour mixture into

prepared pan; Press firmly.

Bake until golden brown, 26-31 minutes. Let cool for 11 minutes.

Meanwhile, in a large bowl, whisk the eggs, glucose syrup, powdered sugar and melted butter until well

combined. Add chocolate chips. Divided over the bowl. Bake until set, 25 to 30 minutes. Let cool completely in

pan before removing (use aluminum foil for removal). Divide into 32 rows (8 rows x 4 rows).
