Creamy Dreamy Banana Split Trifle


This Creamy Dreamy Banana Split Trifle is the perfect dessert for any occasion! Packed with layers of angel food cake, fresh fruit, creamy banana pudding, and topped with fluffy Cool Whip, pecans, and cherries, it's a sweet treat that will leave everyone wanting more!


- Ingredients :


1 angel food cake (prepared, torn into pieces)

2 (3.4 oz packages) instant banana cream pudding mix

3 ½ cups milk 

2 cups crushed pineapple (fresh or canned)

2 cups sliced strawberries 

2 cups sliced bananas 

8 oz. Cool Whip 

¼ cup chopped pecans

15 maraschino cherries  (approx.)


- Instructions :


Prepare the Banana Pudding:

In a bowl, combine the banana pudding mix with the milk.

Whisk until the pudding is thickened and set aside.


Layer the Trifle:

Layer 1: Spread half of the torn angel food cake pieces at the bottom of a trifle dish or large glass bowl.

Layer 2: Add half of the prepared banana pudding on top of the cake.

Layer 3: Evenly spread 1 cup of crushed pineapple.

Layer 4: Add 1 cup of sliced strawberries.

Layer 5: Arrange 1 cup of sliced bananas over the strawberries.

Repeat Layers 1-5 with the remaining cake, pudding, and fruit.


Top the Trifle:

Spread a generous layer of Cool Whip on top of the final fruit layer.

Sprinkle the chopped pecans evenly over the Cool Whip.

Garnish with maraschino cherries for a classic banana split touch.

Chill & Serve:

Refrigerate the trifle for at least 1 hour to let the flavors meld together.
