- Ingredients


7-8 chicken pieces with skin on

1.5 cups of heavy whipping cream

1.5 cups of water

1 cup of all-purpose flour

1 teaspoon of onion powder

2 teaspoons of garlic powder

2 teaspoons of paprika

Salt and pepper to taste


- Directions


1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease casserole dish.

2. In a bowl, mix together the flour, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.


3. Coat each piece of chicken with the flour mixture, shaking off any excess. Place chicken in casserole dish.


4. Combine the heavy whipping cream and water. Pour mixture around chicken.

5. Bake for about 90 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and tender.

Serve the Amish Chicken hot, spooning the creamy sauce over the top.
